Here are some of the questions we're asked most often: 

 WHAT DOES MEMBERSHIP GIVE ME?

·        PREVIEWS (including Marvel Previews) – FREE (while supplies last).  That’s a $62.88 per year value.  This is the catalog we order almost all our merchandise from, and you can special order anything from it (some items sold in case lots only)

·        A Pull List and Reserve Box:  You can fill out a list of books you want to collect each month without fail.  We’ll pull and hold them in your own private box for you.  You choose your plan – Pre-Paid (cash/credit card) or Pay As You Go by putting a credit card number on file with us – We’ll hold them until Monday of the following week.  If you have to wait longer to come in, then we’ll charge your card up to the limit you set, and your books will be paid for when you pick them up.

·        10% Discount off all purchases!  Whatever you order or pick up, even if it’s a special item.  All purchases are discounted to members.

·        PREFERENCE – when you are a member, you are a preferred customer.  If we receive a limited amount of an item you have on your list, you will get your copy at your discounted price, even if we sell out to the general public; even if the book goes hot and starts selling for multiples of cover price.

·        A cool membership card - We’ll even give you a special card to prove you’re a member of our special, preferred customers club!

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? 

    It's just $20 for the whole year.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

    Ask any of our friendly staff to help, they'll be glad to sign you up.  It takes only five minutesto become a member of the best comic shop in town!   

IF I HAVE A PULL LIST, WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN'T COME IN FOR...

...A WEEK?  OR TWO?

    That's simple.  We have two plans to choose from - Plan B allows you to put your weekly comics on a credit card, which is kept on file with the store.  If you don't make it in to pick your comics up this week, we'll just charge them to your credit card, up to the limit you specify.  We'll keep on doing it as long as your membership is active, unless you tell us to stop.  Or you can pre-pay, with Plan C.  You put an amount of money into your account, kind of like your checking account.  As long as you have money in your account, your books are already paid for when we pull them into your box.  If you run out, we will stop pulling your books until you make another deposit.

...A WHILE?

    If you lose your job or have a baby, or if you get sick, or just want to take a break, all you have to do is let us know.    We'll freeze your account - the clock will run, and you will still expire on your same expiration date, but until you tell us to resume, we will not pull your comics any more, and we won't charge your credit card if you're a Plan B member, or deduct money from your account if you're Plan C.

...WHILE I GO ON VACATION IN EUROPE?

     One time per year, members can make a special arrangement with us to accommodate a planned absence.  We will continue to pull your books and hold them for you until you return. If you are a pre-paid member, we will usually try to estimate how much money you will need to deposit to keep you from overdrawing, but if you go over by a little bit, it's all right - your reserve box will be flagged and your pulls will still happen.  If you don't return within 7 days of your specified return date, any books not paid for may be returned to stock, at our discretion.
